Arbitrary XML rendering : ウィキペディア英語版 | Arbitrary XML rendering
Arbitrary XML Rendering (AXR), is a project whose aim is to create a better standard for creating web page and web applications. It will use XML for the content and HSS for the presentation layer. Some JavaScript will be used as well. ==History== The founder of the project, Miro Keller, started with the design of HSS in early 2009, because of his frustration with the limitations of CSS. Initially it would be a strict superset of CSS, but as more ideas were developed, it became clear that no backwards compatibility could be maintained. It started out as a simple text document defining the specification of an imaginary layout language, but the initial idea developed into a real community, with a clear goal: make the lives of web designers and developers easier. Currently, work is being done on the project website, HSS itself, as well as a prototype of the rendering engine.
